Feel the Music! at VISIONS

Feel the Music! launched a new program this spring at VISIONS! Renowned percussionists Bashiri Johnson and Gary Fritz taught weekly percussion workshops for the blind and visually impaired at VISIONS, engaging participants in rhythms and hand techniques. By the end of the workshop each participant could solo on their own drum! From 2005-2008, Feel the Music! was funded by the American Red Cross Recovery Grants program to provide services for hundreds of children and families directly impacted by September 11th.
